And I will put hostility between you and the woman and between your offspring and her offspring; her offspring will attack your head, and you will attack her offspring’s heel.”

Here is the Lord’s proclamation to my lord: “Sit down at my right hand until I make your enemies your footstool!”

You burn them up like a fiery furnace when you appear; the Lord angrily devours them; the fire consumes them.

If David then calls him ‘Lord,’ how can he be his son?”

keeping our eyes fixed on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of our faith. For the joy set out for him he endured the cross, disregarding its shame, and has taken his seat at the right hand of the throne of God.
