So they began to discuss this among themselves, saying, “It is because we brought no bread.”
“Watch out,” Jesus said to them, “beware of the yeast of the Pharisees and Sadducees.”
When Jesus learned of this, he said, “You who have such little faith! Why are you arguing among yourselves about having no bread?
Where did John’s baptism come from? From heaven or from people?” They discussed this among themselves, saying, “If we say, ‘From heaven,’ he will say, ‘Then why did you not believe him?’
They kept this statement to themselves, discussing what this rising from the dead meant.
While they were talking and debating these things, Jesus himself approached and began to accompany them
Now an argument started among the disciples as to which of them might be the greatest.
But Peter said, “Certainly not, Lord, for I have never eaten anything defiled and ritually unclean!”
