Matthew 15:36

he took the seven loaves and the fish, and after giving thanks, he broke them and began giving them to the disciples, who then gave them to the crowds.

Then he instructed the crowds to sit down on the grass. He took the five loaves and two fish, and looking up to heaven he gave thanks and broke the loaves. He gave them to the disciples, who in turn gave them to the crowds.

After instructing the crowd to sit down on the ground,

Then he took a cup, and after giving thanks he said, “Take this and divide it among yourselves.

Then he took bread, and after giving thanks he broke it and gave it to them, saying, “This is my body which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of me.”

When he had taken his place at the table with them, he took the bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to them.

Then Jesus took the loaves, and when he had given thanks, he distributed the bread to those who were seated. He then did the same with the fish, as much as they wanted.

But some boats from Tiberias came to shore near the place where they had eaten the bread after the Lord had given thanks.

After he said this, Paul took bread and gave thanks to God in front of them all, broke it, and began to eat.

The one who observes the day does it for the Lord. The one who eats, eats for the Lord because he gives thanks to God, and the one who abstains from eating abstains for the Lord, and he gives thanks to God.

So whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do everything for the glory of God.

Otherwise, if you are praising God with your spirit, how can someone without the gift say “Amen” to your thanksgiving, since he does not know what you are saying?

When you enter the town, you can find him before he goes up to the high place to eat. The people won’t eat until he arrives, for he must bless the sacrifice. Once that happens, those who have been invited will eat. Now go on up, for this is the time when you can find him!”
