And if anyone will not welcome you or listen to your message, shake the dust off your feet as you leave that house or that town.

I also shook out my garment, and I said, “In this way may God shake out from his house and his property every person who does not carry out this matter. In this way may he be shaken out and emptied!” All the assembly replied, “So be it!” and they praised the lord. Then the people did as they had promised.

And if the house is worthy, let your peace come on it, but if it is not worthy, let your peace return to you.

And whoever welcomes a child like this in my name welcomes me.

If a place will not welcome you or listen to you, as you go out from there, shake the dust off your feet as a testimony against them.”

“Whoever welcomes one of these little children in my name welcomes me, and whoever welcomes me does not welcome me but the one who sent me.”

and said to them, “Whoever welcomes this child in my name welcomes me, and whoever welcomes me welcomes the one who sent me, for the one who is least among you all is the one who is great.”

Wherever they do not receive you, as you leave that town, shake the dust off your feet as a testimony against them.”

I tell you the solemn truth, whoever accepts the one I send accepts me, and whoever accepts me accepts the one who sent me.”

So after they shook the dust off their feet in protest against them, they went to Iconium.

When they opposed him and reviled him, he protested by shaking out his clothes and said to them, “Your blood be on your own heads! I am guiltless! From now on I will go to the Gentiles!”

Consequently the one who rejects this is not rejecting human authority but God, who gives his Holy Spirit to you.
