You open your hand, and fill every living thing with the food they desire.

Turn to me so you can be delivered, all you who live in the earth’s remote regions! For I am God, and I have no peer.

he says, “Is it too insignificant a task for you to be my servant, to reestablish the tribes of Jacob, and restore the remnant of Israel? I will make you a light to the nations, so you can bring my deliverance to the remote regions of the earth.”

“Yes, Lord,” she replied, “but even the dogs eat the crumbs that fall from their masters’ table.”

so that you may be like your Father in heaven, since he causes the sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.

He said to her, “Let the children be satisfied first, for it is not right to take the children’s bread and to throw it to the dogs.”

Then he said to her, “Because you said this, you may go. The demon has left your daughter.”

For there is no distinction between the Jew and the Greek, for the same Lord is Lord of all, who richly blesses all who call on him.

Or is God the God of the Jews only? Is he not the God of the Gentiles too? Yes, of the Gentiles too!

To me – less than the least of all the saints – this grace was given, to proclaim to the Gentiles the unfathomable riches of Christ
