Mark 6:1

Now Jesus left that place and came to his hometown, and his disciples followed him.

And as he sowed, some seeds fell along the path, and the birds came and devoured them.

He came to a town called Nazareth and lived there. Then what had been spoken by the prophets was fulfilled, that Jesus would be called a Nazarene.

Then Jesus said to them, “A prophet is not without honor except in his hometown, and among his relatives, and in his own house.”
