As they were coming down from the mountain, Jesus commanded them, “Do not tell anyone about the vision until the Son of Man is raised from the dead.”

Then Jesus said to him, “See that you do not speak to anyone, but go, show yourself to a priest, and bring the offering that Moses commanded, as a testimony to them.”

And their eyes were opened. Then Jesus sternly warned them, “See that no one knows about this.”

Immediately Jesus sent the man away with a very strong warning.

But he sternly ordered them not to make him known.

The girl got up at once and began to walk around (she was twelve years old). They were completely astonished at this.

Jesus ordered them not to tell anything. But as much as he ordered them not to do this, they proclaimed it all the more.

As they were coming down from the mountain, he gave them orders not to tell anyone what they had seen until after the Son of Man had risen from the dead.

When he had taken his place at the table with them, he took the bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to them.

Then he ordered the man to tell no one, but commanded him, “Go and show yourself to a priest, and bring the offering for your cleansing, as Moses commanded, as a testimony to them.”

Her parents were astonished, but he ordered them to tell no one what had happened.

“I do not accept praise from people,

not by all the people, but by us, the witnesses God had already chosen, who ate and drank with him after he rose from the dead.
