When Jesus came to the area of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, “Who do people say that the Son of Man is?”

“I tell you, stand up, take your stretcher, and go home.”

Which is easier, to say to the paralytic, ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say, ‘Stand up, take your stretcher, and walk’?

God exalted him to his right hand as Leader and Savior, to give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins.
