For you will always have the poor with you, but you will not always have me!

But Jesus said, “Leave her alone. Why are you bothering her? She has done a good service for me.

Children, I am still with you for a little while. You will look for me, and just as I said to the Jewish religious leaders, ‘Where I am going you cannot come,’ now I tell you the same.

I came from the Father and entered into the world, but in turn, I am leaving the world and going back to the Father.”

But now I am going to the one who sent me, and not one of you is asking me, ‘Where are you going?’

I am no longer in the world, but they are in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, keep them safe in your name that you have given me, so that they may be one just as we are one.

This one heaven must receive until the time all things are restored, which God declared from times long ago through his holy prophets.

There will never cease to be some poor people in the land; therefore, I am commanding you to make sure you open your hand to your fellow Israelites who are needy and poor in your land.

I have had great joy and encouragement because of your love, for the hearts of the saints have been refreshed through you, brother.
