There are many plans in a person’s mind, but it is the counsel of the Lord which will stand.

There is no wisdom and there is no understanding, and there is no counsel against the Lord.

It is good for a man to bear the yoke while he is young. י (Yod)

“You know that after two days the Passover is coming, and the Son of Man will be handed over to be crucified.”

But they said, “Not during the feast, so that there won’t be a riot among the people.”

The chief priests and the experts in the law heard it and they considered how they could assassinate him, for they feared him, because the whole crowd was amazed by his teaching.

But if we say, ‘From people – ’” (they feared the crowd, for they all considered John to be truly a prophet).

Two days before the Passover and the Feast of Unleavened Bread, the chief priests and the experts in the law were trying to find a way to arrest Jesus by stealth and kill him.

Now while Jesus was in Bethany at the house of Simon the leper, reclining at the table, a woman came with an alabaster jar of costly aromatic oil from pure nard. After breaking open the jar, she poured it on his head.

But if we say, ‘From people,’ all the people will stone us, because they are convinced that John was a prophet.”

Now the Feast of Unleavened Bread, which is called the Passover, was approaching.

Thus the Pharisees said to one another, “You see that you can do nothing. Look, the world has run off after him!”

When they heard these words, some of the crowd began to say, “This really is the Prophet!”
