Mark 12:12

Now they wanted to arrest him (but they feared the crowd), because they realized that he told this parable against them. So they left him and went away.

But if we say, ‘From people,’ we fear the crowd, for they all consider John to be a prophet.”

Now when they heard this they were stunned, and they left him and went away.

Then some of the residents of Jerusalem began to say, “Isn’t this the man they are trying to kill?

So then they tried to seize Jesus, but no one laid a hand on him, because his time had not yet come.

Some of them were wanting to seize him, but no one laid a hand on him.
