So they answered Jesus, “We don’t know.” Then Jesus said to them, “Neither will I tell you by what authority I am doing these things.”

Jesus answered, “Are you the teacher of Israel and yet you don’t understand these things?

He answered, “I told you already and you didn’t listen. Why do you want to hear it again? You people don’t want to become his disciples too, do you?”

And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do what should not be done.

But until this very day whenever Moses is read, a veil lies over their minds,
