Then Jesus said to him, “What do you want me to do for you?” The blind man replied, “Rabbi, let me see again.”
That night God appeared to Solomon and said to him, “Tell me what I should give you.”
and elaborate greetings in the marketplaces, and to have people call them ‘Rabbi.’
But you are not to be called ‘Rabbi,’ for you have one Teacher and you are all brothers.
Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.
“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened for you.
He said to them, “What do you want me to do for you?”
He threw off his cloak, jumped up, and came to Jesus.
Jesus said to her, “Mary.” She turned and said to him in Aramaic, “Rabboni” (which means Teacher).
The commanding officer took him by the hand, withdrew privately, and asked, “What is it that you want to report to me?”
Do not be anxious about anything. Instead, in every situation, through prayer and petition with thanksgiving, tell your requests to God.
