How can I repay the Lord for all his acts of kindness to me?

Many women who had followed Jesus from Galilee and given him support were also there, watching from a distance.

Simon’s mother-in-law was lying down, sick with a fever, so they spoke to Jesus at once about her.

When it was evening, after sunset, they brought to him all who were sick and demon-possessed.

When he was in Galilee, they had followed him and given him support. Many other women who had come up with him to Jerusalem were there too.

Then, gently taking the child by the hand, he said to her, “Talitha koum,” which means, “Little girl, I say to you, get up.”

He gave her his hand and helped her get up. Then he called the saints and widows and presented her alive.
