“Do not harm the boy!” the angel said. “Do not do anything to him, for now I know that you fear God because you did not withhold your son, your only son, from me.”

This man was listening to Paul as he was speaking. When Paul stared intently at him and saw he had faith to be healed,

If you forgive anyone for anything, I also forgive him – for indeed what I have forgiven (if I have forgiven anything) I did so for you in the presence of Christ,

bearing with one another and forgiving one another, if someone happens to have a complaint against anyone else. Just as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also forgive others.

But someone will say, “You have faith and I have works.” Show me your faith without works and I will show you faith by my works.
