For they all gave out of their wealth. But she, out of her poverty, put in what she had to live on, everything she had.”

The younger of them said to his father, ‘Father, give me the share of the estate that will belong to me.’ So he divided his assets between them.

He said, “I tell you the truth, this poor widow has put in more than all of them.

Now a woman was there who had been suffering from a hemorrhage for twelve years but could not be healed by anyone.

For there was no one needy among them, because those who were owners of land or houses were selling them and bringing the proceeds from the sales

For if the eagerness is present, the gift itself is acceptable according to whatever one has, not according to what he does not have.
