“Speak to the whole congregation of the Israelites and tell them, ‘You must be holy because I, the Lord your God, am holy.

Each of you must respect his mother and his father, and you must keep my Sabbaths. I am the Lord your God.

Do not turn to idols, and you must not make for yourselves gods of cast metal. I am the Lord your God.

You must be holy to me because I, the Lord, am holy, and I have set you apart from the other peoples to be mine.

“‘You must sanctify yourselves and be holy, because I am the Lord your God.

You must sanctify him because he presents the food of your God. He must be holy to you because I, the Lord who sanctifies you all, am holy.

Do two walk together without having met?

Thus you will remember and obey all my commandments and be holy to your God.

So then, be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect.

For you are a people holy to the Lord your God. He has chosen you to be his people, prized above all others on the face of the earth.

For God did not call us to impurity but in holiness.

No one is holy like the Lord! There is no one other than you! There is no rock like our God!
