If only you would keep completely silent! For you, that would be wisdom.

“They are dismayed and cannot answer any more; they have nothing left to say.

I too will answer my part, I too will explain what I know.

Even a fool who remains silent is considered wise, and the one who holds his tongue is deemed discerning.

For this reason whoever is smart keeps quiet in such a time, for it is an evil time.

Understand this, my dear brothers and sisters! Let every person be quick to listen, slow to speak, slow to anger.
