Jeremiah 48:32

New English Translation

I will weep for the grapevines of Sibmah just like the town of Jazer weeps over them. Their branches once spread as far as the Dead Sea. They reached as far as the town of Jazer. The destroyer will ravage her fig, date, and grape crops.

Nebo, Baal Meon (with a change of name), and Sibmah. They renamed the cities they built.

Kiriathaim, Sibmah, Zereth Shahar on the hill in the valley,

Their territory included Jazer, all the cities of Gilead, and half of Ammonite territory as far as Aroer near Rabbah.

Heshbon, and Jazer, along with the grazing areas of each – a total of four cities.
