So the Lord said, “I will wipe humankind, whom I have created, from the face of the earth – everything from humankind to animals, including creatures that move on the ground and birds of the air, for I regret that I have made them.”

Who can make a clean thing come from an unclean? No one!

Look, I was guilty of sin from birth, a sinner the moment my mother conceived me.

The wicked turn aside from birth; liars go astray as soon as they are born.

Their venom is like that of a snake, like a deaf serpent that does not hear,

But if men have instigated this, may they be cursed before the Lord! For they have driven me away this day from being united with the Lord’s inheritance, saying, ‘Go on, serve other gods!’
