When he told his father and his brothers, his father rebuked him, saying, “What is this dream that you had? Will I, your mother, and your brothers really come and bow down to you?”

May peoples serve you and nations bow down to you. You will be lord over your brothers, and the sons of your mother will bow down to you. May those who curse you be cursed, and those who bless you be blessed.”

Then he had another dream, and told it to his brothers. “Look,” he said. “I had another dream. The sun, the moon, and eleven stars were bowing down to me.”

When Joseph came home, they presented him with the gifts they had brought inside, and they bowed down to the ground before him.

“Your servant our father is well,” they replied. “He is still alive.” They bowed down in humility.

So Judah and his brothers came back to Joseph’s house. He was still there, and they threw themselves to the ground before him.

The children of your oppressors will come bowing to you; all who treated you with disrespect will bow down at your feet. They will call you, ‘The City of the Lord, Zion of the Holy One of Israel.’
