“What have you done?” Laban demanded of Jacob. “You’ve deceived me and carried away my daughters as if they were captives of war!

So Pharaoh summoned Abram and said, “What is this you have done to me? Why didn’t you tell me that she was your wife?

That is why a man leaves his father and mother and unites with his wife, and they become a new family.

Then Abimelech exclaimed, “What in the world have you done to us? One of the men might easily have had sexual relations with your wife, and you would have brought guilt on us!”

Jacob became angry and argued with Laban. “What did I do wrong?” he demanded of Laban. “What sin of mine prompted you to chase after me in hot pursuit?

They captured as plunder all their wealth, all their little ones, and their wives, including everything in the houses.

But the Lord said, “What have you done? The voice of your brother’s blood is crying out to me from the ground!

Pilate answered, “I am not a Jew, am I? Your own people and your chief priests handed you over to me. What have you done?”

So Joshua said to Achan, “My son, honor the Lord God of Israel and give him praise! Tell me what you did; don’t hide anything from me!”

So Saul said to Jonathan, “Tell me what you have done.” Jonathan told him, “I used the end of the staff that was in my hand to taste a little honey. I must die!”

David replied, “What have I done now? Can’t I say anything?”

They took captive the women who were in it, from the youngest to the oldest, but they did not kill anyone. They simply carried them off and went on their way.
