God saw all that he had made – and it was very good! There was evening, and there was morning, the sixth day.

So the man named all the animals, the birds of the air, and the living creatures of the field, but for Adam no companion who corresponded to him was found.

The man said, “The woman whom you gave me, she gave me some fruit from the tree and I ate it.”

The one who finds a wife finds what is enjoyable, and receives a pleasurable gift from the Lord.

If anyone thinks he is acting inappropriately toward his virgin, if she is past the bloom of youth and it seems necessary, he should do what he wishes; he does not sin. Let them marry.

Husbands, in the same way, treat your wives with consideration as the weaker partners and show them honor as fellow heirs of the grace of life. In this way nothing will hinder your prayers.
