Then Moses said to the Lord, “O my Lord, I am not an eloquent man, neither in the past nor since you have spoken to your servant, for I am slow of speech and slow of tongue.”

“Without a doubt you are the people, and wisdom will die with you.

Moses said to God, “Who am I, that I should go to Pharaoh, or that I should bring the Israelites out of Egypt?”

Moses answered again, “And if they do not believe me or pay attention to me, but say, ‘The Lord has not appeared to you’?”

But Moses replied to the Lord, “If the Israelites did not listen to me, then how will Pharaoh listen to me, since I speak with difficulty?”

But Moses said before the Lord, “Since I speak with difficulty, why should Pharaoh listen to me?”

I answered, “Oh, Lord God, I really do not know how to speak well enough for that, for I am too young.”

In fact, I brought you up from the land of Egypt, I delivered you from that place of slavery. I sent Moses, Aaron, and Miriam to lead you.

So Moses was trained in all the wisdom of the Egyptians and was powerful in his words and deeds.

because some say, “His letters are weighty and forceful, but his physical presence is weak and his speech is of no account.”

And even if I am unskilled in speaking, yet I am certainly not so in knowledge. Indeed, we have made this plain to you in everything in every way.
