Exodus 34:25

“You must not offer the blood of my sacrifice with yeast; the sacrifice from the feast of Passover must not remain until the following morning.

You must leave nothing until morning, but you must burn with fire whatever remains of it until morning.

You will not eat anything made with yeast; in all the places where you live you must eat bread made without yeast.’”

They will eat the meat the same night; they will eat it roasted over the fire with bread made without yeast and with bitter herbs.

“You must not offer the blood of my sacrifice with bread containing yeast; the fat of my festal sacrifice must not remain until morning.

If any of the meat from the consecration offerings or any of the bread is left over until morning, then you are to burn up what is left over. It must not be eaten, because it is holy.

“‘No grain offering which you present to the Lord can be made with yeast, for you must not offer up in smoke any yeast or honey as a gift to the Lord.

The meat of his thanksgiving peace offering must be eaten on the day of his offering; he must not set any of it aside until morning.

They must not leave any of it until morning, nor break any of its bones; they must observe it in accordance with every statute of the Passover.

He told them another parable: “The kingdom of heaven is like yeast that a woman took and mixed with three measures of flour until all the dough had risen.”

You must not eat any yeast with it; for seven days you must eat bread made without yeast, symbolic of affliction, for you came out of Egypt hurriedly. You must do this so you will remember for the rest of your life the day you came out of the land of Egypt.

There must not be a scrap of yeast within your land for seven days, nor can any of the meat you sacrifice on the evening of the first day remain until the next morning.
