Here is the Lord’s proclamation to my lord: “Sit down at my right hand until I make your enemies your footstool!”

You lead me in the path of life; I experience absolute joy in your presence; you always give me sheer delight.

The path of life is upward for the wise person, to keep him from going downward to Sheol.

A wise person’s good sense protects him, but a fool’s lack of sense leaves him vulnerable.

‘The Lord said to my lord, “Sit at my right hand, until I put your enemies under your feet”’?

Jesus said to him, “You have said it yourself. But I tell you, from now on you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Power and coming on the clouds of heaven.”

After the Lord Jesus had spoken to them, he was taken up into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God.

But Stephen, full of the Holy Spirit, looked intently toward heaven and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing at the right hand of God.

Who is the one who will condemn? Christ is the one who died (and more than that, he was raised), who is at the right hand of God, and who also is interceding for us.

For the outlook of the flesh is death, but the outlook of the Spirit is life and peace,

because we are not looking at what can be seen but at what cannot be seen. For what can be seen is temporary, but what cannot be seen is eternal.

He, the very one who descended, is also the one who ascended above all the heavens, in order to fill all things.

Wives, submit to your husbands as to the Lord,

If you have died with Christ to the elemental spirits of the world, why do you submit to them as though you lived in the world?

Keep thinking about things above, not things on the earth,

But to which of the angels has he ever said, “Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet”?

The Son is the radiance of his glory and the representation of his essence, and he sustains all things by his powerful word, and so when he had accomplished cleansing for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high.

But when this priest had offered one sacrifice for sins for all time, he sat down at the right hand of God,

keeping our eyes fixed on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of our faith. For the joy set out for him he endured the cross, disregarding its shame, and has taken his seat at the right hand of the throne of God.

Now the main point of what we are saying is this: We have such a high priest, one who sat down at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in heaven,

who went into heaven and is at the right hand of God with angels and authorities and powers subject to him.
