Then he began to teach them by saying:

Then beginning with Moses and all the prophets, he interpreted to them the things written about himself in all the scriptures.

Then Peter started speaking: “I now truly understand that God does not show favoritism in dealing with people,

But there were some men from Cyprus and Cyrene among them who came to Antioch and began to speak to the Greeks too, proclaiming the good news of the Lord Jesus.

Also some of the Epicurean and Stoic philosophers were conversing with him, and some were asking, “What does this foolish babbler want to say?” Others said, “He seems to be a proclaimer of foreign gods.” (They said this because he was proclaiming the good news about Jesus and the resurrection.)

for he refuted the Jews vigorously in public debate, demonstrating from the scriptures that the Christ was Jesus.

But some itinerant Jewish exorcists tried to invoke the name of the Lord Jesus over those who were possessed by evil spirits, saying, “I sternly warn you by Jesus whom Paul preaches.”

They set a day to meet with him, and they came to him where he was staying in even greater numbers. From morning until evening he explained things to them, testifying about the kingdom of God and trying to convince them about Jesus from both the law of Moses and the prophets.

so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, and so that he may send the Messiah appointed for you – that is, Jesus.

And every day both in the temple courts and from house to house, they did not stop teaching and proclaiming the good news that Jesus was the Christ.

Then the eunuch said to Philip, “Please tell me, who is the prophet saying this about – himself or someone else?”

and immediately he began to proclaim Jesus in the synagogues, saying, “This man is the Son of God.”

but we preach about a crucified Christ, a stumbling block to Jews and foolishness to Gentiles.

For I decided to be concerned about nothing among you except Jesus Christ, and him crucified.

We have spoken freely to you, Corinthians; our heart has been opened wide to you.

if indeed you heard about him and were taught in him, just as the truth is in Jesus.
