Before they even call out, I will respond; while they are still speaking, I will hear.

So let us acknowledge him! Let us seek to acknowledge the Lord! He will come to our rescue as certainly as the appearance of the dawn, as certainly as the winter rain comes, as certainly as the spring rain that waters the land.”

While Peter was still thinking seriously about the vision, the Spirit said to him, “Look! Three men are looking for you.

and was returning home, sitting in his chariot, reading the prophet Isaiah.

So Philip ran up to it and heard the man reading Isaiah the prophet. He asked him, “Do you understand what you’re reading?”

Now when they came up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord snatched Philip away, and the eunuch did not see him any more, but went on his way rejoicing.

It is one and the same Spirit, distributing as he decides to each person, who produces all these things.

Now the Spirit explicitly says that in the later times some will desert the faith and occupy themselves with deceiving spirits and demonic teachings,

Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says, “Oh, that today you would listen as he speaks!
