Since considerable time had passed and the voyage was now dangerous because the fast was already over, Paul advised them,

“‘On the tenth day of this seventh month you are to have a holy assembly. You must humble yourselves; you must not do any work on it.

Therefore be alert, remembering that night and day for three years I did not stop warning each one of you with tears.
