For the Lord who rules over all says to me that for his own glory he has sent me to the nations that plundered you – for anyone who touches you touches the pupil of his eye.

He came to a town called Nazareth and lived there. Then what had been spoken by the prophets was fulfilled, that Jesus would be called a Nazarene.

And the king will answer them, ‘I tell you the truth, just as you did it for one of the least of these brothers or sisters of mine, you did it for me.’

Then he will answer them, ‘I tell you the truth, just as you did not do it for one of the least of these, you did not do it for me.’

But Peter said, “Certainly not, Lord, for I have never eaten anything defiled and ritually unclean!”

Then I fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to me, ‘Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me?’

Of course, I myself was convinced that it was necessary to do many things hostile to the name of Jesus the Nazarene.

But Peter said, “I have no silver or gold, but what I do have I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene, stand up and walk!”

let it be known to all of you and to all the people of Israel that by the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, this man stands before you healthy.

For we have heard him saying that Jesus the Nazarene will destroy this place and change the customs that Moses handed down to us.”

For just as the body is one and yet has many members, and all the members of the body – though many – are one body, so too is Christ.

The Lord said to Samuel, “Do everything the people request of you. For it is not you that they have rejected, but it is me that they have rejected as their king.
