But Paul called out loudly, “Do not harm yourself, for we are all here!”
I mourned for them as I would for a friend or my brother. I bowed down in sorrow as if I were mourning for my mother.
or have wronged my ally, or helped his lawless enemy,
“You shall not murder.
But the one who does not find me brings harm to himself; all who hate me love death.”
Do not be excessively wicked and do not be a fool; otherwise you might die before your time.

When the jailer woke up and saw the doors of the prison standing open, he drew his sword and was about to kill himself, because he assumed the prisoners had escaped.
Calling for lights, the jailer rushed in and fell down trembling at the feet of Paul and Silas.
See that no one pays back evil for evil to anyone, but always pursue what is good for one another and for all.
