I have told the great assembly about your justice. Look! I spare no words! O Lord, you know this is true.

“Go immediately to Nineveh, that large city, and proclaim to it the message that I tell you.”

When they came to Jesus, they urged him earnestly, “He is worthy to have you do this for him,

But Jesus said to him, “Let the dead bury their own dead, but as for you, go and proclaim the kingdom of God.”

When they arrived in Salamis, they began to proclaim the word of God in the Jewish synagogues. (Now they also had John as their assistant.)

On the Sabbath day we went outside the city gate to the side of the river, where we thought there would be a place of prayer, and we sat down and began to speak to the women who had assembled there.

When we entered Rome, Paul was allowed to live by himself, with the soldier who was guarding him.

And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How timely is the arrival of those who proclaim the good news.”

Rejoice in hope, endure in suffering, persist in prayer.

Now the one who receives instruction in the word must share all good things with the one who teaches it.

I became a servant of the church according to the stewardship from God – given to me for you – in order to complete the word of God,

At the same time pray for us too, that God may open a door for the message so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ, for which I am in chains.

And you became imitators of us and of the Lord, when you received the message with joy that comes from the Holy Spirit, despite great affliction.

And we urge you, brothers and sisters, admonish the undisciplined, comfort the discouraged, help the weak, be patient toward all.

Do not treat prophecies with contempt.

Until I come, give attention to the public reading of scripture, to exhortation, to teaching.

Those guilty of sin must be rebuked before all, as a warning to the rest.

So if someone cleanses himself of such behavior, he will be a vessel for honorable use, set apart, useful for the Master, prepared for every good work.

correcting opponents with gentleness. Perhaps God will grant them repentance and then knowledge of the truth

You, however, have followed my teaching, my way of life, my purpose, my faith, my patience, my love, my endurance,

Such testimony is true. For this reason rebuke them sharply that they may be healthy in the faith

So communicate these things with the sort of exhortation or rebuke that carries full authority. Don’t let anyone look down on you.

Now I urge you, brothers and sisters, bear with my message of exhortation, for in fact I have written to you briefly.

All those I love, I rebuke and discipline. So be earnest and repent!
