Woe to the world because of stumbling blocks! It is necessary that stumbling blocks come, but woe to the person through whom they come.

For just as it is written, “the name of God is being blasphemed among the Gentiles because of you.”

But when we are judged by the Lord, we are disciplined so that we may not be condemned with the world.

“For the Lord disciplines the one he loves and chastises every son he accepts.”

All those I love, I rebuke and discipline. So be earnest and repent!
