When Rebekah heard what her older son Esau had said, she quickly summoned her younger son Jacob and told him, “Look, your brother Esau is planning to get revenge by killing you.

They requested only that we remember the poor, the very thing I also was eager to do.

So then, whenever we have an opportunity, let us do good to all people, and especially to those who belong to the family of faith.

Now on the topic of times and seasons, brothers and sisters, you have no need for anything to be written to you.

Now as for you, the anointing that you received from him resides in you, and you have no need for anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about all things, it is true and is not a lie. Just as it has taught you, you reside in him.

With regard to the matter that you and I discussed, the Lord is the witness between us forever!”
