In a little while the world will not see me any longer, but you will see me; because I live, you will live too.

For if we have become united with him in the likeness of his death, we will certainly also be united in the likeness of his resurrection.

Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him.

As it is written, “For your sake we encounter death all day long; we were considered as sheep to be slaughtered.”

For just as the sufferings of Christ overflow toward us, so also our comfort through Christ overflows to you.

Indeed we felt as if the sentence of death had been passed against us, so that we would not trust in ourselves but in God who raises the dead.

For indeed he was crucified by reason of weakness, but he lives because of God’s power. For we also are weak in him, but we will live together with him, because of God’s power toward you.

For we who are alive are constantly being handed over to death for Jesus’ sake, so that the life of Jesus may also be made visible in our mortal body.

From now on let no one cause me trouble, for I bear the marks of Jesus on my body.

Now I rejoice in my sufferings for you, and I fill up in my physical body – for the sake of his body, the church – what is lacking in the sufferings of Christ.

This saying is trustworthy: If we died with him, we will also live with him.

But rejoice in the degree that you have shared in the sufferings of Christ, so that when his glory is revealed you may also rejoice and be glad.

If you are insulted for the name of Christ, you are blessed, because the Spirit of glory, who is the Spirit of God, rests on you.
