Then the king turned around and pronounced a blessing over the whole Israelite assembly as they stood there.

When David finished offering burnt sacrifices and peace offerings, he pronounced a blessing over the people in the Lord’s name.

When the sacrifices were completed, the king and all who were with him bowed down and worshiped.

When Hezekiah and the officials came and saw the heaps, they praised the Lord and pronounced blessings on his people Israel.

O Lord, I have built a lofty temple for you, a place where you can live permanently.”

He said, “The Lord God of Israel is worthy of praise because he has fulfilled what he promised my father David.

When they come in, the prince will come in with them, and when they go out, he will go out.

And such a large crowd gathered around him that he got into a boat to sit while the whole crowd stood on the shore.

Joshua rewarded them and sent them on their way; they returned to their homes.
