Once the priests left the holy place, a cloud filled the Lord’s temple.

Then Solomon said, “The Lord has said that he lives in thick darkness.

The priests could not carry out their duties because of the cloud; the Lord’s splendor filled God’s temple.

May your servants see your work! May their sons see your majesty!

There I will meet with the Israelites, and it will be set apart as holy by my glory.

Then the cloud covered the tent of meeting, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle.

Moses was not able to enter the tent of meeting because the cloud settled on it and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle.

In the year of King Uzziah’s death, I saw the sovereign master seated on a high, elevated throne. The hem of his robe filled the temple.

Then Moses said, “This is what the Lord has commanded you to do so that the glory of the Lord may appear to you.”

I will also shake up all the nations, and they will offer their treasures; then I will fill this temple with glory,’ says the Lord who rules over all.

Now the Word became flesh and took up residence among us. We saw his glory – the glory of the one and only, full of grace and truth, who came from the Father.

But Stephen, full of the Holy Spirit, looked intently toward heaven and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing at the right hand of God.

And we all, with unveiled faces reflecting the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another, which is from the Lord, who is the Spirit.

For God, who said “Let light shine out of darkness,” is the one who shined in our hearts to give us the light of the glorious knowledge of God in the face of Christ.

The city possesses the glory of God; its brilliance is like a precious jewel, like a stone of crystal-clear jasper.

The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, because the glory of God lights it up, and its lamp is the Lamb.
