The armies were deployed opposite each other for seven days. On the seventh day the battle began, and the Israelites killed 100,000 Syrian foot soldiers in one day.

When Isaac was forty years old, he married Rebekah, the daughter of Bethuel the Aramean from Paddan Aram and sister of Laban the Aramean.

The Lord rules forever! The nations are driven out of his land.

The Lord’s messenger went out and killed 185,000 troops in the Assyrian camp. When they got up early the next morning, there were all the corpses!

On the seventh day they were up at the crack of dawn and marched around the city as before – only this time they marched around it seven times.

Meanwhile for forty days the Philistine approached every morning and evening and took his position.
