Elijah took the boy, brought him down from the upper room to the house, and handed him to his mother. Elijah then said, “See, your son is alive!”
The Lord answered Elijah’s prayer; the boy’s breath returned to him and he lived.
The woman said to Elijah, “Now I know that you are a prophet and that the Lord really does speak through you.”
So the dead man sat up and began to speak, and Jesus gave him back to his mother.
While he was on his way down, his slaves met him and told him that his son was going to live.
He gave her his hand and helped her get up. Then he called the saints and widows and presented her alive.
and women received back their dead raised to life. But others were tortured, not accepting release, to obtain resurrection to a better life.
