The sons of Kohath: Amram, Izhar, Hebron, and Uzziel.

So the Levites appointed Heman son of Joel; one of his relatives, Asaph son of Berechiah; one of the descendants of Merari, Ethan son of Kushaiah;

The sons of Kohath: Amram, Izhar, Hebron, and Uzziel – four in all.

Shallum was the father of Hilkiah, and Hilkiah was the father of Azariah.

These are the names of the sons Gershom: Libni and Shimei.

The sons of Merari: Mahli and Mushi. These are the clans of the Levites by their families.

O Lord God who delivers me! By day I cry out and at night I pray before you.

The sons of Kohath were Amram, Izhar, Hebron, and Uzziel. (The length of Kohath’s life was 133 years.)
