These were all the sons of David, not counting the sons of his concubines. Tamar was their sister.

David married more concubines and wives from Jerusalem after he arrived from Hebron. Even more sons and daughters were born to David.

From all the many sons the Lord has given me, he chose Solomon my son to rule on his behalf over Israel.

Solomon’s son was Rehoboam, followed by Abijah his son, Asa his son, Jehoshaphat his son,

Elishama, Eliada, and Eliphelet.
