“After that, in my vision at night I saw in front of me a fourth animal that was cruel, terrible, and very strong. It had large iron teeth. “So this is what the Lord says: ‘I will return to Jerusalem with mercy. My Temple will be rebuilt,’ says the Lord All-Powerful, ‘and the measuring line will be used to rebuild Jerusalem.’

Then I looked up and saw four animal horns.

I was given a measuring stick like a rod, and I was told, “Go and measure the temple of God and the altar, and count the people worshiping there.

The angel who talked with me had a measuring rod made of gold to measure the city, its gates, and its wall.
