Christ accepted you, so you should accept each other, which will bring glory to God.

Whoever accepts you also accepts me, and whoever accepts me also accepts the One who sent me.

“Whoever accepts a child like this in my name accepts me. And whoever accepts me accepts the One who sent me.”

But the Pharisees and the teachers of the law began to complain: “Look, this man welcomes sinners and even eats with them.”

Then Jesus said, “Whoever accepts this little child in my name accepts me. And whoever accepts me accepts the One who sent me, because whoever is least among you all is really the greatest.”

And he also did this so that those who are not Jews could give glory to God for the mercy he gives to them. It is written in the Scriptures: “So I will praise you among the non-Jewish people. I will sing praises to your name.”

who through our faith has brought us into that blessing of God’s grace that we now enjoy. And we are happy because of the hope we have of sharing God’s glory.

We are the first people who hoped in Christ, and we were chosen so that we would bring praise to God’s glory.

I pray also that you will have greater understanding in your heart so you will know the hope to which he has called us and that you will know how rich and glorious are the blessings God has promised his holy people.

Bear with each other, and forgive each other. If someone does wrong to you, forgive that person because the Lord forgave you.
