The Lord in Jerusalem is great; he is supreme over all the peoples.

The Lord is supreme over all the nations; his glory reaches to the skies.

He defeated nations for us and put them under our control.

God is King over the nations. God sits on his holy throne.

God shines from Jerusalem, whose beauty is perfect.

He rules forever with his power. He keeps his eye on the nations, so people should not turn against him.Selah

You are the Lord Most High over all the earth; you are supreme over all gods.

Shout and sing for joy, you people of Jerusalem, because the Holy One of Israel does great things before your eyes.”

What shall we tell the messengers from Philistia? Say that the Lord has made Jerusalem strong and that his poor people will go there for safety.

He has found no wrong in the people of Jacob; he saw no fault in Israel. The Lord their God is with them, and they praise their King.
