Tremble before him, everyone on earth. The earth is set, and it cannot be moved.

Let the skies rejoice and the earth be glad. Let people everywhere say, “The Lord is king!”

Riches and honor come from you. You rule everything. You have the power and strength to make anyone great and strong.

If so, then decorate yourself with glory and beauty; dress in honor and greatness as if they were clothing.

The Lord has set his throne in heaven, and his kingdom rules over everything.

Your kingdom will go on and on, and you will rule forever. The Lord will keep all his promises; he is loyal to all he has made.

Tell the nations, “The Lord is king.” The earth is set, and it cannot be moved. He will judge the people fairly.

Goodness and fairness will give him strength, like a belt around his waist.

Wake up, wake up, and use your strength, powerful Lord. Wake up as you did in the old times, as you did a long time ago. With your own power, you cut Rahab into pieces and killed that sea monster.

How beautiful is the person who comes over the mountains to bring good news, who announces peace and brings good news, who announces salvation and says to Jerusalem, “Your God is King.”

He covered himself with goodness like armor. He put the helmet of salvation on his head. He put on his clothes for punishing and wrapped himself in the coat of his strong love.

Who is this coming from Edom, from the city of Bozrah, dressed in red? Who is this dressed in fine clothes and marching forward with his great power? He says, “I, the Lord, speak what is right. I have the power to save you.”

And do not cause us to be tempted, but save us from the Evil One.’ [The kingdom, the power, and the glory are yours forever. Amen.]

But God said this about his Son: “God, your throne will last forever and ever. You will rule your kingdom with fairness.

Then I heard what sounded like a great many people, like the noise of flooding water, and like the noise of loud thunder. The people were saying: “Hallelujah! Our Lord God, the Almighty, rules.
