God says, “My people, listen to me; Israel, I will testify against you. I am God, your God.

I wish my people would listen to me; I wish Israel would live my way.

He said, “You must obey the Lord your God and do what he says is right. If you obey all his commands and keep his rules, I will not bring on you any of the sicknesses I brought on the Egyptians. I am the Lord who heals you.”

We believe people when they say something is true. But what God says is more important, and he has told us the truth about his own Son.
