You take care of the land and water it; you make it very fertile. The rivers of God are full of water. Grain grows because you make it grow.

Isaac planted seed in that land, and that year he gathered a great harvest. The Lord blessed him very much,

They planted seeds in the fields and vineyards, and they had a good harvest.

He brings peace to your country and fills you with the finest grain.

Yet he proved he is real by showing kindness, by giving you rain from heaven and crops at the right times, by giving you food and filling your hearts with joy.”

While Naomi was in Moab, she heard that the Lord had come to help his people and had given them food again. So she and her daughters-in-law got ready to leave Moab and return home.
