Lord, let me speak so I may praise you.

Judah said, “Master, what can we say? And how can we show we are not guilty? God has uncovered our guilt, so all of us will be your slaves, not just Benjamin.”

My lips will tell about all the laws you have spoken.

Then, at the gates of Jerusalem, I will praise you; I will rejoice because you saved me.

Looking up to heaven, he sighed and said to the man, “Ephphatha!” (This means, “Be opened.”)

We know that the law’s commands are for those who have the law. This stops all excuses and brings the whole world under God’s judgment,

So through Jesus let us always offer to God our sacrifice of praise, coming from lips that speak his name.

He protects those who are loyal to him, but evil people will be silenced in darkness. Power is not the key to success.
