Lord our God, save us and bring us back from other nations. Then we will thank you and will gladly praise you.

Shout with joy to the Lord, all the earth; burst into songs and make music.

This is what the Lord says: “Be happy and sing for the people of Jacob. Shout for Israel, the greatest of the nations. Sing your praises and shout this: ‘Lord, save your people, those who are left alive from the nation of Israel!’

“So you will go out with joy and be led out in peace. The mountains and hills will burst into song before you, and all the trees in the fields will clap their hands.

God is our protection and our strength. He always helps in times of trouble.

God has risen with a shout of joy; the Lord has risen as the trumpets sounded.

Jehoiada brought out the king’s son and put the crown on him and gave him a copy of the agreement. They appointed him king and poured olive oil on him. Then they clapped their hands and said, “Long live the king!”

David and all the Israelites shouted with joy and blew the trumpets as they brought the Ark of the Lord to the city.

Rejoice greatly, people of Jerusalem! Shout for joy, people of Jerusalem! Your king is coming to you. He does what is right, and he saves. He is gentle and riding on a donkey, on the colt of a donkey.

“Who are you, big mountain? In front of Zerubbabel you will become flat land, and he will bring out the topmost stone, shouting, ‘It’s beautiful! It’s beautiful!’ ”

Let the rivers clap their hands; let the mountains sing together for joy.

Then the men of Judah gave a battle cry. When they shouted, God caused Jeroboam and the army of Israel to run away from Abijah and the army of Judah.

Then Samuel said to the people, “See the man the Lord has chosen. There is no one like him among all the people.” Then the people shouted, “Long live the king!”

Sing, Jerusalem. Israel, shout for joy! Jerusalem, be happy and rejoice with all your heart.

As a deer thirsts for streams of water, so I thirst for you, God.
