The men from the tribes of Manasseh, Reuben, and Gad prayed to God during the war, asking him to help them. So he helped them because they trusted him. He handed over to them the Hagrites and all those who were with them.

Lord, rise up, face the enemy, and throw them down. Save me from the wicked with your sword.

We know that those who are God’s children do not continue to sin. The Son of God keeps them safe, and the Evil One cannot touch them.
